The building

Arlington House was built between 1934 and 1936 as a private residential block with 120 apartments, many of which incorporated separate servant quarters.

The building was designed by Michael Rosenauer, a well-know architect who also designed the Time & Life Building in New Bond Street.

The apartment block backs onto Green Park and adjoins the rear of the famous Ritz Hotel, Piccadilly.
